In the USA, they overturned the famous case of Roe v Wade. If you are not familiar, this was a case where a woman had claimed to have been raped and impregnated, wanting a late-term abortion.Â
She was later found to be lying about everything and she had only done it because she did not want the baby anymore.
Well, this protection clause was overturned which now allows the states to decide if they want abortion to be legal or illegal.Â
What do you think about this? Do you feel this will inspire other countries?Â
I really don't have many thoughts on it. I won't pretend to even understand US politics. I hardly know our politics in the UK! I know just enough to be in the loop I suppose.Â
This isn't something new though. The US has had so many protests, riots, and general civil unrest cases in the last 20 years, it isn't even funny.Â
