I am not sure if this will be different for standard vs EV models, but I would imagine there are some differences. Feel free to answer for one, the other, or both.

I want to make sure the car I buy is well taken care of. The car I have been using since 2016 is a dated model and I am looking to get a hybrid this year.

I have never been good with this myself. I am always forgetting something. I am still looking into more information about EVs so I will share whatever I find or learn here. I would like to buy some sort of mini EV this year.

In terms of standard cars, this is probably the best checklist I could find online:

Monthly Car Maintenance
Check the oil level
Check the coolant level
Check the brake fluid level
Check and clean wiper blades
Check the windshield washer fluid
Check the headlights on bright and dim
Check the tire pressure, tread, and condition

Quarterly Car Maintenance
Change the oil
Change the oil filter
Inspect the fan belt
Inspect the hoses for cracks
Check the battery and cables
Check the power steering fluid
Change the automatic transmission fluid

Annual Car Maintenance
Flush the coolant
Check the spark plugs
Change air cabin filter
Change engine air filter
Lubricate doors and hinges
Check brakes and wheel bearings
Inspect steering and suspension
