I have a collection of various rings with different gemstones on them. I have had them for years but with inflation and everything else, I am considering selling some to have extra income. I am just not sure if it is worth selling them or holding onto them just in case the value goes up.

Does anyone know about gemstones here and their values? And gemstones in terms of an investment?

While I am not huge into gems, I would suggest looking at trends. See what the value predictions are. Some might fall in the near future which means selling them now would be worth it. In a hurting economy, the value of these drops.

Hmm, this is true. I didn't think about that. I mean if I sell now and the value goes down, then it would have been a good move but if I sell and the value ends up going up, I will be gutted!
