Best veg to grow in pots?

I don't have a lot of space but I would like to grow some veg this summer. I know it is a bit late to start but I feel as though I still have time left to get things going.

Does anyone here have any suggestions on the best veg to grow in pots?

In larger pots, you can grow just about anything. I am currently growing in some cloth tote pots. I have cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers. They are all doing really well! I would suggest those to start with.
