Have for sale a 2003 Honda Accord Euro R CL7 in Arctic Blue Pearl with a K20a, true rare JDM import. For those in the know, this is the ultimate Accord! Coming with the K20a found in the DC5, FD2 and the JDM EP3, this isn’t no UKDM Type R. Fitted with an LSD, this car is ready to hit the back roads, motorway and track! Economical and refined on a long run, yet an absolute high-revving weapon on B-roads and track days.
Pushing out 220bhp originally, this car has had no expense spared whilst in the UK. Full UK service history and all the receipts available, this car has been looked after in every way since it’s import in 2018 (I’m the 2nd UK owner). The car has been remapped by TPW Engineering to remove the speed limiter and push it up to 242hp with VTEC all the way from 5000 rpm to 8400rpm.
I purchased the car Autumn 2022 and in May 2023 I had the gearbox rebuilt with an extended 6th gear along with a new OEM clutch and lighter flywheel. It also has an Android touchscreen radio/interface with built-in HVAC controls.
Car has some OEM+ mods fitted, Spoon S-Tai front bumper, Spoon S-Tai front undertray, Spoon monoblock front calipers with split front discs, 15mm spacers on the front and 20mm spacers on the rear, Mugen air intake, Spoon radiator cap and Spoon oil cap, Mugen dampers with Mugen springs, CompTech lightweight flywheel, Mugen short shifter, Mugen wind deflectors and Spoon wide view rear mirror.
Instrument cluster was converted by Torque GT (with receipt) into mileage (as well returning the backlighting to OEM), so odometer shows true mileage and speedo in mph.
The car has just had a full service and going over, including new front lower ball joints (not needed but to reassure the new owner), new CV boots, new track rod end, new rear adjustable camber arms, new rear discs and pads and new front pads, new tyres all round, alignment and a whole host more. The car is super clean underneath, and has been freshly sealed with Lanoguard. The car is 23 years old so it isn’t perfect, there are marks to the paintwork and some wear on the driver’s seat.
Two keys, big stack of history, some Japanese brochures and V5 present for sale, the car is now sitting on 130k with next MOT due 26th April 2027. Sale will include lots of spares and original parts, spare set of OEM wheels (with 2 good tyres fitted), OEM gear shifter, OEM air box and intake, OEM radio, OEM 10 CD changer, OEM front bumper, grill, foglights and undertray, OEM flywheel, OEM front brake calipers, OEM cam cover, OEM dampers and springs, spare floor matts, OEM front lower control arms, plus extra bits like OEM door sills.
Car is currently with a detailer, so more photos and a video will be uploaded after 15th November, and I’ve booked in for a fresh MOT on 20th November so the owner knows they’re getting a clean motor. Only selling the car as I’m leaving the country.
